A Call to Prayer

Every year, the first Sunday of November is designated as the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Although Scripture instructs us to always be mindful of the needs of our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ, we encourage you to join in prayer particularly on the first Sunday in November. However, if this date is not a good fit for your fellowship, please consider taking the time to make a special emphasis on another Sunday. The action of prayer is much more important than the specific date the prayer occurs.

This year, we have created a video that is short, yet powerful. This is a simple way to communicate the need for prayer for the persecuted church. Please feel free to share this video with your family, friends, and church.

Matthew 5:10-12
"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad,
for your reward in heaven is great."
