Welcome to Remember

"Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body."
- Hebrews 13:3

Dear Friend of the Persecuted Church -

Welcome to our website, and thank you for your interest in the needs of the persecuted church. Remember is an organization dedicated to meeting those needs and serving as a link between the members of the Body of Christ, overseas and here at home.

More often than not, it is the breadwinner of the family that is targeted for imprisonment or even martyrdom, leaving behind a wife and children in desperate need of support. Our specific ministry objective is to find those families, taking them physical supplies, and providing them with encouragement and a reminder of the hope that they have as members of the Body.

We channel 100% of your donations to the church in need. Remember's operating costs are completely covered by the Bostic Law Firm, allowing us to take all that you give and put it towards our work. Whether God enables you to give in large or small amounts, please be assured that your tax-deductible donation will make a difference.

Remember is also dedicated to linking up the body of Christ, serving as a reminder to the domestic church of the needs of our brothers and sisters. To that end, we would love to make a presentation to your church or interested community group - or empower you to do so! On this website, you will find resources to equip you, and please let us know if we can be of service.

Thank you again for your heart for our suffering fellow Christians. Please let me know if I can help be a resource to you.

Yours for the Body of Christ,

Curtis E. Bostic
Chairman of the Board

Dr. Robert Clifford was born in San Diego, California, the son of a Naval Aviator. After many military transfers, he and family moved to Charleston, South Carolina - his "hometown" since 1977. While Robert was always raised in a home that honored the Lord, he remembers hearing the Father's call for "relationship" when he was 10 years old. Furthermore, he recalls working out his "salvation, with fear and trembling" (Philemon 2:12) at the age of 13.

Robert was called into Worship Ministry at the age of 15. It was then that he became a member of Calvary Lutheran Church - where he continues to serve the Lord as Worship Leader and as an Elder. It was at Calvary, also, that the Lord introduced him to his best friend and helpmate, Tiffannie. Tiffannie and Robert have been blessed with two daughters, Lauren and Anna. For these girls, it is their parents' greatest desire that they will "taste and see that the Lord is good" and will forever know that they are loved and are "called, according to His purpose." (Psalm 34:8 and 2 Timothy 1:9)

After graduating Furman University, Robert completed medical school and Pediatric Residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is currently on the Clinical Teaching Faculty at MUSC and serves as the Chairman of Pediatrics at both Roper and St. Francis Hospitals. Additionally, he is a full-time General Pediatrician and a practicing partner with Coastal Pediatric Associates, P.A. in Charleston, SC.

Dr. Edgar Feghaly was born in Lebanon to a Catholic father and Greek Orthodox mother. He was saved at the age of 7 as a result of a Baptist missionary who established a church near his home.

Dr. Feghaly has a Bachelor of Science degree from Bob Jones University, a Masters of Theology from the Seminary of Biblical and International Studies, and was awarded his Doctor of Divinity by Faithway Baptist College. He was ordained and commissioned by Southside Baptist Church.

Since his ordination, he has been a missionary with World Wide New Testament Baptist Missions for 18 years. He planted the Bible Baptist Church in Haddath, Lebanon, and from that base of operations he reaches out to Lebanese Arabs and the people that come from various African countries to work in Lebanon.

Dr. Feghaly and his wife, Roseann, have two children, and continue to actively work planting churches in the Middle East. In addition to overseas ministry, Dr. and Mrs. Feghaly do extensive speaking and ministry in the United States.

He earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Charleston Southern University and currently works for the US Department of State. He married Jodi, his high school sweetheart, and they were later blessed with their daughter, Addison Grace. Rhett served on his first mission trip with Remember in Southern Burma. It was there that God gave Rhett a passion and an urgency to serve his persecuted brothers and sisters all over the world.

Born and raised in Hendersonville, NC, Rick was saved at the age of 24 in Athens, Greece. He has attended Blue Ridge Community College, Mars Hill College, Western Carolina University, City College of Chicago, Anne Arundel Community College, Community College of the Air Force, and the University of Maryland. In addition, he graduated from the Defense Language Institute, Presidio of Monterey.

While in Hendersonville, Rick founded and served as President of Jackson Commercial Painting, Inc., and Hendersonville Decorating Center, Inc. In 1998, he sold both of these businesses and moved his family to Charleston, SC, for the sole purpose of being a member of a church that was fully committed to serving Jesus Christ. This move was based entirely on faith, without a job or a home waiting, but God proved himself mighty.

Rick is the founder and President of Carolina Machine Finishing, Inc., in Charleston, which serves the construction industry through the Southeast with preprimed/prefinished building materials. Rick’s company has been recognized as an exceptional business, including selection by the Charleston County Chamber of Commerce as a winner of the 2003 “Emerging 10” award for companies that have demonstrated exceptional growth, innovation, customer service, and a high degree of character and integrity, and recognition as the North Charleston Small Business of the Year for 2006.

Rick has been happily married to his best friend Cathy for 26 years, and they have eleven children—five daughters and six sons. Rick and Cathy are proud to be new grandparents. Rick was first introduced to mission work in 1990, and has been involved with short term missions work in Central America and the Caribbean, and assists C.L.A.I.M. (Christian Laymen Assisting International Ministries) whenever possible.

Ministry, in one facet or another, has been a large part of Gabriel Waddell’s life since he was a teen. He has directed youth community outreach programs, taught character in the public school, and served in multiple support roles for the local church. An award-winning communicator and musician, Gabe has taught high school speech, and until moving to South Carolina, served as the Director of Free Indeed, the traveling choral ministry team of Patrick Henry College.

Gabe is admitted to practice law in California. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy, and came to Charleston from northern Virginia, where he worked in the legal department at the Home School Legal Defense Association.

Gabe’s work with Remember has brought him in contact with Christians all throughout the Charleston area, and all throughout the world, and he rejoices to see the Spirit of God at work in His people. He is privileged to be a part of that work.

Danielle Walker trusted Christ as her Savior at a young age and was raised in a church where there were many opportunities to become involved in ministry, including teaching Sunday School and working with AWANA.

During high school, she was privileged to serve on a short-term mission trip to Bolivia where the team taught English and worked with children in schools and churches.

After graduating from the Oak Brook College of Law in 2004, Danielle went to work at the Bostic Law Firm, PA, in Charleston, South Carolina. She enjoys legal work, working with children, music, and hitching motorcycle rides.

Danielle’s interest in the persecuted church stemmed from the Bible and biographies of Christians such as Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand and others who paid a high price for their faith in Jesus Christ. Although her life and daily challenges are drastically different from those faced by the persecuted church, she hopes to be as faithful to love and serve the Lord as those who are facing true persecution.

An attendee of the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Jeff Vasko has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years. In 2015, he and his wife, Hope, and their three children relocated to Charleston where he has taught as a clinical professor at MUSC and provided leadership for Medical Compus Outreach. Dr. Vasko has also traveled to South Africa, Thailand, North Africa, Myanmar, and Eduador to treat patients typically without access to dental care. When he isn’t treating patients, you might find him spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, playing volleyball, or exercising.

Fermin Ulit was born and raised in the semi-remote area at the northernmost province in the Philippines. He grew up farming at an early age as means to survive. Schooling was just as a second priority. However, it was a must to go to school despite of hardship in life. In 1994, he moved to Chicago and stayed there for a short time. He served in the Unites States Air Force and SC State Guard.

Fermin has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Engineering. He also graduated from Trident Technical College and Community College of the Air Force. He has Advanced studies from University of Charleston and the Citadel. He is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers.

He worked in Construction and in Engineering after serving the Military. He established ESB Services LLC in 2008 which specializes in the Design-build and services in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Alarm Building Systems.

At the age of 23, he was saved by His grace. He saw God's miracles in his life back in time and how God protected him throughout. He was compelled to go to missions in Burma and South Sudan since 2010 in the area of construction where he can apply his God-given talents and skills in Engineering and Construction.

Fermin has been blessed with wife Cherybel and 3 children: Hezekiah, Hannah, and Hazielle.

Rommel Boquiren was born and raised in the Philippines. He immigrated to Hawaii at the age of 14. He joined the United States Air Force after high school and eventually was stationed at Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina, where he was miraculously saved by grace. He is happily married to his best friend, Valerie, and together they have been blessed with 8 children, 2 boys and 6 girls: Joshua, Rebekah, Jasmine, Nathan, Leilani, Abigail, Charity, and Lilybeth.

He has had the privilege to accompany Remember on his first mission trip to Myanmar in 2013. Since his first encounter with the children and the needs in Myanmar, the Lord has continued to impress on his heart a need for sharing his skills to help in whatever capacity the Lord has given him. He has made subsequent trips to the children's home in Myanmar and has had 2 of his older children accompany the Remember team as well. His heart is for building relationship and seeing the children in Myanmar grow and be self sufficient in learning skills and trades useful to the needs that surround them. His desire is to see the children be used mightily of the Lord and be ministers of the gospel to the lives they touch! He also had the privilege to accompany the Remember team again to South Sudan in 2015. His construction skills and knowlege has been used to help draw along side other brethren to complete various projects and tasks that the Lord has used to minister to him as he sees the hand of the Lord provide every detail and every need in places where supplies for construction are difficult to find. He continues to trust the Lord to order his steps and looks forward to what else He has in store for him. "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." James 1:27

Statement of Faith

We believe in the inerrancy and supernatural inspiration of the Bible and its divine authority for every age and every day life.

We believe in one God that eternally exists and reveals Himself in three persons - Father, Son, Holy Spirit - having each the same nature and worthy of the same worship and confidence. We believe in God as absolute and sole Creator and Sustainer of the universe.

We believe that Jesus Christ was fully God in the flesh and fully man, that He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life, in which He taught and performed mighty works and wonders He was crucified, shed His blood, died to pay the penalty for our sins and was raised bodily from the dead on the third day. He ascended to the Father's right hand where He is Head of the Church and intercedes for believers. From there He is coming again personally, bodily and visibly to this earth to set up His millennial kingdom.

We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates, indwells, baptizes and seals all believers at the moment of their salvation, filling them in response to yieldedness with the goal of conforming them to the image of Christ.

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam's sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature and became alienated from God. We believe that all men are morally corrupt, and of themselves utterly unable to remedy their lost condition.

We believe that salvation is a gift of God and is received by man through personal faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for sin. We believe that man is justified by grace through faith apart from works and that all true believers, once saved, are kept secure in Christ forever.
